ABOUT MIKE
Mike is a lifelong resident of Southern Indiana and a graduate of Mater Dei High School and the University of Southern Indiana. He has been a long-time teacher and coach at Mater Dei High School. Mike previously served 17 years as Social Studies Department Chairman. He has also been the head coach of the football and wrestling programs at Mater Dei earning numerous awards. championships, and recognitions throughout his career. Most recently, he was named the National Football Coach of the Year for the 2022-2023 season.

Having served on the Vanderburgh County Council for 20 years, Mike is very proud of his voting record on the council and his ability to work across the aisle with his fellow council members to do what is right for Vanderburgh County residents.

As County Commissioner, Mike will continue to represent the County with a no-nonsense and fair approach to protect the taxpayers from unnecessary expenses and support long-term plans to promote economic growth while providing good-paying jobs and business expansion. He will support efforts to maintain and improve our local roads, streets, and bridges for safe and efficient travel throughout Vanderburgh County. Mike is an avid supporter of local law enforcement and first responders. And, most importantly, he will listen to your concerns and suggestions on relevant and important issues for our county's future development.

Mike and his wife Melanie have 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren.
